Finnish e-health services intended for citizens – national and regional development

Electronic health care (e-health) services intended for Finnish citizens have been recently developed nationally, regionally, and locally through several projects programs. This study aimed to investigate the development availability of e-health in specialized primary private medical service providers from 2011 2020. In addition, differences between different sectors regional hospital districts were investigated. Data collected using web-based questionnaires 2011, 2014, 2017, 2020 “Use information communication technology surveys care”. covers all 21 districts, nearly centers, a sample providers. Quantitative data analyzed SPSS software (version 25). The an was calculated as percentage respondents each sector. results this show that public organizations extensively offered on their websites. Almost had well-being, provided services, contact methods, locations, well options send electronic feedback. Remote consultation, appointment booking telephone counseling also offered. revealed volume increased For instance, remote consultation exchange encrypted email rapidly during follow-up periods sectors. Comparing more than do According study, there are clear no district studied services. These suggest need clarify national responsibilities standardize within districts.
